Calling all graphic designing bush babies, nature lovers and safari sweethearts - we've got an unbeatable sighting for you Focus your binoculars on this amazing opportunity We have a spectacular opening for a Mid-weight Designer at a fast-growing and high-end safari company at their Cape Town HQ.

You will be designing all Marketing collateral. You'll also be responsible for managing the image library - a minor part of the role.

What makes this opportunity amazing is getting the chance to visit and see the safari lodges and different wilderness areas in Botswana and Namibia.

This client operates in SA, Botswana and Namibia, marketing safari destinations and are looking to expand to South and North America.

There'll be some flexibility, but the designer needs to be on-site/in-house.

Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to:

Design and updating of Marketing collateral, managing, and curating the image library, and overseeing the use of all imagery of the company's Sales & Marketing collateral including websites, brochures, newsletters, sales presenters, etc.
Ensuring that documents and presentations produced for an external audience meet the brand visual standards and the company brand is consistently applied. This includes PowerPoint presentations, fact sheets, newsletters, social media ads, trade show displays, etc.
An opportunity to work with the photographer on shoots when visiting the safari camps.

Requirements:

Graphic Design/Visual Communications Degree or similar Diploma at a reputable institution essential
35 years' experience working in a creative agency environment
InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator skills essential
Reasonable PowerPoint and Word skills
Organised with strong attention to detail to manage image library and refresh images across range of marketing collateral
Some basic photo editing
Good design eye upmarket hospitality visual aesthetic
Experience with Printready artwork
Experience in Digital Design is an advantage
Takes initiative
Able to work quickly and efficiently
