Description

***- Interpret the technical scope of critical projects (related to the built environment), and oversee quality output (from design to testing/commissioning) according to agreed user requirement specifications (URSs) or the real estate strategy of the company.

Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance in the systems or equipment, and report on predictive subsystem failure, to enhance system capability (using proactive preventative techniques).
Critically interpret WIs and drawings concerning construction, alterations/modifications, enhancement maintenance and specialist projects.
Consult or engage stakeholders towards the drawing or preparation of URSs and/or scope of work (SOW) for project and maintenance of firerelated systems/equipment.
Work closely with external engineering contractors and supporting specialists towards optimisation of technology and enhancements of system efficiencies through service level agreements (SLAs).

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- a National Diploma in Engineering;
- registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA); as Fire Protection System Practitioner and
- at least five years of job-related experience after obtaining professional registration.
