Solugrowth is in search for a Business Controller - Commercial Trucks (Used Trucks) for our client within the Automotive industry.

We're looking for someone who can proactively support the business to reach their strategic and financial objectives.

You will have a key role in driving and tracking financial performance as we aim to extend and grow the business.

This position will report to the CFO


Onsite - office based.

Purpose


To manage closing and estimate for Used Trucks but not exclusively as New Trucks starts the chain of selling a truck that eventually ends up in our Used Truck inventory.

You are operational in this role and can provide detailed controlling reports. You act as a business partner and co-driver to the business.

You have the ability to connect the financial reporting to our estimate process as this is you main task in order to drive progress.


Your co-driver is the Manager Used Truck Sales, Director New Trucks Sales and Financial Accountant in Financial Control and Accounting (FCA).


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive and manage full understanding of the sales flow from New Trucks to Used Trucks sale.
  • To actively participate in Business control activities and document these.
  • To secure the documentation into Business Manual.
  • To drive and secure way of working within Business Control. This also entails to clean out any other tasks not Business Control related.
  • To secure and manage Cash flow through financial follow up and forecast purposes.
  • Participate in Sales related offers and document these to the business according to the standards.
  • This role also requires you to participate in Sales related activities and make presentations to management.
  • Actively propose and drive the support of improvements of all controlling related revenue and expense reporting, ensuring proactive control, accuracy, predictability and timely delivery of results, analysis and forecasts.
  • This role entails very good knowledge of SAP general ledger accounting to ensure that all local and corporate reporting for the business is completed accurate and in a timely manner in close cooperation with Financial Control and Accounting (FCA) as well as the international Business Control team.
  • Drive the implementation of the Business Manual to ensure compliance with laws, policies and standards incl. the Used Trucks Operational Manual, Financial Policies and Procedures (FPP), etc. and provide support during external and internal audits.
  • Drive process, control and system improvements and challenge inefficiencies to enable Group standards
  • Be a business partner and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Prepare risk assessments and work proactively with our Internal audit manager to ensure Group compliance
  • Provide financial guidance to stakeholders
  • Liaise with other Finance colleagues for decision making, analysis, reporting and consolidation
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor (or higher degree) in Business Administration, Finance and Economics or similar is required.
  • 5 years plus of Management accounting experience
  • Proven experience in a finance role in a similar sized organisation would be preferable.
  • Industry experience advantageous
