Plaas Media is looking for a dynamic advertising sales person with proven experience to sell advertising space in its various agricultural magazines, online and broadcast products.

This is an office-based post in Lyttelton, Centurion. No freelancers will be considered. This is a permanent post.


Requirements:

Must be self-driven and able to meet targets and strict deadlines.
Must be able to manage various product portfolios along with excellent administration.

At least five to ten years' experience in the sale of advertising space in the magazine, online and broadcast environment.

Fluent in both Afrikaans and English. Excellent proficiency in Afrikaans is a must.
Excellent phone manner and cold-calling skills.
Must be able to liaise with clients at all levels - from farm level to corporates and agencies.
Good presentation skills.
Team player.
Must be computer literate. Good Excel skills required.
Valid drivers' license.
Must be willing to travel.
Knowledge of agriculture and/or the agricultural media industry will be advantageous.
No freelancers.
