ICT TRAINER

(Programming Mobile Applications and Web Development)

(PERMANENT)

JOB PURPOSE

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

ICT Training

  • Deliver Web and App Development Training to meet set targets.

Train Technical and Programming Curriculum:
Cisco Introductory Courses, Networking Essentials, Devnet, ITE & the Programming Curriculum.

  • Deliver Generic ICT Training i.e. Digital literacy, Microsoft Office, Coding and Robotics, Online Platforms, etc.
  • Responsible for the implementation of the full training cycle
- planning,
- training,
- training support,
- assessments and evaluation.
- reporting

Administration of ICT Training

Implementation of ICT Programs.


Remain abreast of developments in ICT through constant upskilling and development, attending accreditation body conferences, participation in industry online networks, webinars, etc.


  • Ensure responsible use of ICT resources.
  • Submit training reports to relevant supervisors.
  • Asset management of all ICT assets assigned to classroom.
  • Assist with adhoc Scibono projects, functions and activities.
  • Supporting and coaching learners using a wide range of learning technologies.

Development

  • Assist with the development of good quality Mobile and Web Applications according to client specifications.
  • Provide post development support to the client.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications Required

  • ICT formal qualifications: Advanced Certificate/Diploma/Advanced Diploma
  • Formal qualification Advanced Certificate in Mobile Applications Development
  • Certification in C, Python, C++ Programming Languages
  • Proficiency in HTML and CS
  • Teacher/Instructor/Trainer Certification
  • Microsoft Office Specialist Certification (Min 2 Applications)
The following Qualifications or proficiency advantageous

  • Certification Strong proficiency in at least one of the following development languages
  • Visual Basic.
NET, C#.NET, C++, Java,

  • Microsoft Web Stack (MVC, C#, IIS, ASP.Net etc,)
  • MCSD or related certification
  • Devnet

Experience

Minimum experience required with Portfolio Evidence

  • Minimum 1 year experience developing websites using of PHP, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/jQuery
  • Clear understanding of hosting websites
  • Exposure to and experience in working with latest development tools.

Some experience in the following experience is advantageous

  • Mobile Application Development for iOS, Android and/or Windows
  • Experience in facilitating or training in Website and Applications Design
  • Experience with Android Studio, Java, Xamarin (C#) and/or Swift
  • Strong proficiency in at least one of the following web development languages
  • ASP, ASP.NET, JSP, JSF and HTML

Knowledge / Skills

  • Presentation Skills

  • Analytical
  • Sound knowledge of 4IR

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Gauteng, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
