Afrirent Holdings is seeking a General Manager for our Rent to Own - Vehicle Sales Business.


This is a fairly new business, however has got an existing client base and basic paperwork and processes in place.

We are looking for an honest, professional, skilled manager with exceptional experience in business administration, compliance, strategies, vehicles sales and customer services


Responsibilities:


  • Take control and run the Rent to Own Dealership - including systems and processes.
  • Draft a Business plan/ strategy and report to the CEO / CFO.
  • Compliance with laws, policies and procedures in all business dealings.
  • Drive new sales to meet monthly targets as set by the business
  • Appointing and monitoring an admin and sales team and then reporting on individual and team sales performance

Ensure that:

  • Proper risk assessments are done before clients are on boarded
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction targets are being exceeded
  • Engaging in active marketing and sales management
  • Identifying stock requirements & ensuring correct model mix is sourced & managed.
  • Carrying out market and competitor analyses, setting target parameters (e. g. for pricing), and ensuring these are implemented
  • Identifying training and development needs and opportunities for your staff
  • Working closely with the used car sales team to ensure the dealership meets its Rent to Own car sales target
  • Reporting Weekly to the CEO and CFO

Requirements & Skills needed:


  • Grade 12 (required)
  • Tertiary Business Administration or related qualification
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Sales Management position
  • Prior experience in the automotive sector is essential
5. 3+ Years managing a Business


  • Must have experience in drafting a business strategy and plan
  • Talented communicator and motivator with natural authority, a confident manner and a highly performance-oriented approach
  • Proven track record of leading a team to exceed used car sales targets
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring and developing staff
  • Drivers license
  • High Volume Sales experience preferred

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SALARY WILL DEPEND ON THE SUCCESSFUL INCUMBENT'S SKILL, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
