We will count on you to:
- Manage the National Corporate Placement team.
- Drive Corporate Placement Strategy to compliment the Corporate Segment's Client Strategy i.e. client retention and growth
- Maintain close relationship with the Corporate Segment Leader and his Management teams & CE's.
- Provide input, guidance and solutions on problematic placements.
- Take responsibility for the placement of all corporate accounts where income to Marsh is in excess of R100,00000.
- Take personal responsibility for the placement of certain strategic Corporate accounts.
- Represent Marsh on Property & Casualty Practice Leaders Forum and provide regular feedback to the Technical Leader to facilitate communication to the greater business, where necessary
- Build strong market relationships (including wholesale and reinsurance markets where relevant) to get most competitive terms for clients
- Member of the Corporate Segment MANCO
- Ensure renewal timelines are adopted in conjunction with Segment and Business Leaders
- Maintain regular/ formal engagements with Corporate Segment Leader
- Regular engagements with the National Head of Technical and the Portfolio Solutions Leader ensuring strategic alignment with the Segment Leader (making use of facilities where possible to support growth strategy)
What you need to have:
- Minimum 8 years broking experience
- Proven track record in managing a team
- Technical knowledge of policy wordings, local market, London Market
- Ability to drive change in the business aligned to the Corporate Segment Leaders Strategy
- Ability to work crossteam
- Ability to execute strategy
- Open mind to change, to take the business forward
- Problem solving, early identification of problems
- FAIS compliant
