Description

Collaborate closely with the Projects & Sales Team to timeously procure equipment, spares and services in line with the technical specifications.


  • Prepare RFP and RFQ documents.
  • Negotiate and implement agreements with key suppliers.
  • Supplier Development / Management
  • Identification and implementation of costsaving initiatives.
  • Understanding of INCOTERMS and import procedure (Documents for customs clearance)
  • Ensure compliance of the Procurement Policy.
  • Expedite and communicate the status of orders placed.
  • Drive B-BBEE strategies in line with the Business Goals

Qualifications & Experience:


  • Procurement / Supply Chain qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years Engineering Procurement experience.
  • Understand the principals of strategic sourcing and negotiations
  • Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other analytical tools
  • ERP SAP experience
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data
