We are looking for a talented Restaurant Supervisor to join the Xara family and work with our new historical venue, a 19th century palazzo, housed in what used to be the summer residence of one of Malta's leading 20th century industrialists and one of the oldest structures in the popular Balluta area.

The Xara family is looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to join one of the best front of house teams on the island.

Job description

The impact you will make:

An unforgettable experience, the best meals aren't just made by our brilliant chefs. They're made even more memorable by the great service our guests enjoy.

Under the general guidance and supervision of the Operations Manager and the Restaurant Manager, you will assist in the day-to-day running of our Restaurant ensuring that members and guests receive the highest standard of service and hospitality making their dining experience a memorable one.

Profile description

About You:

You'll have effective leadership skills and develop key strategies with the team in identifying key customer needs and working with them to develop initiatives to meet/ exceed these needs.

Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills to ensure a seamless and memorable experience, proactively resolving any challenges that may arise.

Ensure good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
Strong communication skills and a 'hands-on' approach to 'lead by example and demonstrate best practice.
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
High attention to detail and accuracy - great at managing one's own time and the time of the team.
