Description
RPO Recruitment is seeking a Construction Manager to join our client's operation.

As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from the conception stage to the final completion.

You will need to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet client specifications.

You will act as the liaison between clients and contractors, oversee scheduling and budgeting, and manage teams to ensure the project progresses smoothly.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee project from the conception stage through to the final completion.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and meet clients specification.
  • Act as the liaison between clients and contractors, architects, engineers & local authority officials.
  • Manage scheduling/budgeting and provide progress reports.
  • Manage teams ensuring they work within project guidelines; review and approve contractor bids.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in line with the required Health and Safety standards.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.

Requirements:


  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience working in a construction management capacity.
  • Good understanding of contracts and practical experience in contract management.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to manage project scheduling and budgets.
  • Selfmotivated, with excellent leadership and problemsolving abilities.
  • Good understanding of building and construction standards and regulations.
  • Results driven and excellent communication both written and verbal.
