Description

Take responsibility for coordinating daily warehouse activities such as dispatching, receiving and storing goods, managing inventory level, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods.

FOOD MANUFACTURING EXPERINCE IS ESSENTIAL

Ensuring stock items are appropriately and correctly handled and binned to minimize shrinkage, also to ensure FIFO system in being followed.

Manage the warehouse and logistics function efficiently and effectively.
Manage dispatch department efficiently and effectively.
Comply with SHEQ Policies and Procedures.
Ensure customer satisfaction.
Receiving - Ensure stock is correctly received
Processing purchase orders
Receiving Delivery notes with purchase orders
Place stock in designated areas for ongoing projects
Monthly stock take and reconciliation

Compiles stock control records and information, such as consumptions rate, characteristics of item in storage, and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment.

Prepare requisitions, orders or other for purchasing or requisitioning new or additional stock items.
Verify accuracy of requisition and orders.
Ensuring that stock is properly stored to prevent damage.
Ensuring that proper security measures are in place so that unauthorized persons do not have access to stock.
Resolve Invoice/Credit related Customer Queries.
Process Stock and Non-Stock Returns & Deliveries.
Meet customer quality requirements.
Comply to Health & Safety and quality standards.
Excellent house keeping
Perform required administrative duties.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Grade 12
Relevant tertiary education in Operations /Supply Chain Management will be advantageous.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
Valid Driver's Licence with own reliable transport
Ability to work within a team and multi-task.
