Restaurant Manager - Durban, South Africa - BLUFF PERSONNEL

NEW RESTAURANT OPENING
Vacancies exist for a Restaurant Manager and Junior Managers to oversee all restaurant operations.
Main Duties include, but not limited to:
- Delegate tasks to restaurant staff and supervise their performance
- Maintain a fullystocked inventory and order food supplies, as needed
- Arrange to have shifts covered, Help staff resolve onthejob challenges
- Track daily costs and revenues, Cash up at the end of the shift
- Manage and coordinate supplier relationships
- Ensure client satisfaction and professionally handle any complaints
- Opening and closing of the restaurant as per safety protocols
- Inform the next Shift Manager about pending tasks
- Report maintenance and training needs
- Monitor dining, kitchen, and all customer areas to maintain cleanliness
- Follow food safety guidelines at all times
- Coaching staff throughout their shift to execute operational Brand
Criteria:
- Matric
- 5+ years of restaurant/hospitality experience
- 3+ years of managerial or supervisory experience
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Leadership, decisionmaking, motivation and goalsetting skills
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
R6, R9,000.00 per month
Experience:
- restaurant/hospitality: 5 years (required)
- managerial/supervisory: 3 years (preferred)
