Responsibilities- Functional Leadership of 2 direct reports who business partner with Engineering and Productivity & Performance Leads and sets and drives strategic finance direction for these functions- Business partner with Technical Services Senior Director Cluster and work with her/him on defining and implementing a holistic strategy, driving all relevant levers to deliver required Capex Spending and Productivity Targets- Co-lead preparation of Annual Capex Plan and Setting of Productivity Targets Support selected Transformational Productivity Projects (e.g. Atlantic) Lead Business Development Analysis (Benchmarking, "what if" analysis, Financial Modelling) Lead Major Capex Investment proposals Partner with SC LT to deliver Productivity targets Financial Stewardship of annual Capital Budget of ~$120MM- Drive increase in ROIC for capital expenditure Financial Leadership in Trade Off Decisions (Capital rationing) Integrity of Financial Modelling within Capex Governance and Adherence to the Policy & Procedures issued by Sector CoE Capital project oversight. Ensure proper business cases are developed, and review soundness of financial models; probe for alternatives; make recommendations to Sr Leadership. Governance of Processes to ensure compliance to Sector-wide Process on Capital and Productivity- Develop Talent and Capability within the team-Evaluation of New Productivity Initiatives against guiding principles

  • Stewardship of All Productivity Reporting
  • Optimising of and driving compliance with Capex Approval SOA in conjunction with Control
  • Proactively share best practices with peers within SCF organisation

Qualifications- Relevant Tertiary Degree Extensive experience of People Management/Leadership
- leadership of dispersed teams)
  • Proven Operating Leadership experience (depth & breadth of capability in functional leadership (small BU CFO, Head of Function)
  • Proven Operating Leadership experience
  • Proven ability to drive large scale change initiatives

  • Requires both Tactical and Strategic Decision Making without daytoday reference to Manager
