A market-leading South African ISP is looking for a Managing Director to take the business to the next level.

Managing Director

Main Deliverables:

Customer base growth per budget.
Revenue growth.
Ebitda growth.
Customer experience excellence.
Sales and Distribution strategy and execution for ISP.
Base management and segmentation.
Opex control and efficiencies.
Establish strong relationships with key business stakeholders and community representatives.
Build sound relationships with Group commercial and operations teams.

Ideal Profile:

Mature and energetic.
Strong people leadership to lead and support the young team.
Excellent communication skills both written and spoken with the ability to engage effortlessly across various stakeholder groups from shareholders to community leaders to sales agents and customers.
Analytical problem solver.
Fluent in all aspects of the operation with a solid general management background.
Must be comfortable working in an operationally intense environment with a handson approach where needed.
Ability to mentor and resolve conflict internally and externally.
Customer obsession is key to success, and this means spending significant time in communities with sales partners to unlock greater growth.
Ethics beyond reproach.

Qualifications and Experience:

Must have a tertiary qualification either in engineering, commerce, or finance.
Minimum 10 years' experience in senior management roles.
Minimum 5 years general management experience i.e., managing cross functional teams in the services industry.
ISP, Financial Services or Telecoms experience essential.
At least 3 years' experience in the South African emerging market.
Must have a proven track record in consumer sales and customer experience/retention.
