As a Fitter, you will be responsible to maintain, install and commission engineering components of the machinery and equipment to an agreed standard in the area of responsibility.

Job Description:

You responsibilities will include:
Attend and conduct safety meeting
Conducts and participate in risk assessments
Attend to breakdowns and emergencies as required
Maintains a high quality of work Performing work to the required standards and specifications
Exercise judgment with regards to replacement of components
Completing job cards and description of work and spares used (PM's)

This role is in the Engineering department at a C2 level reporting to the Engineering Foreman.

**Qualifications

Grade 1
Fitter trade
N6 will be advantageous.

Required Experience:

3 to 5 years as a Fitter in smelting, heavy industry, mines and concerntrators

Knowledge and Skills:

Should be able to conduct.
Must be familiar with risk assessments and procedures.
Must be able to work standby and overtime.
Valid driver's license
Computer literate
