  • The HR Business Partner will provide generalist human resource service in all areas of HR and projects at the Parktown office. The successful incumbent will support the HR Manager in developing and implementing HR initiatives focused on achieving business objectives and improving the effectiveness of the HR department._

Key duties and responsibilities:


  • Provide comprehensive and holistic HR services to the HR Manager and programme on all aspects of HR from recruitment, Performance Management, Employee Relations etc.
  • Ensure effective implementation of all HR processes through effective business partnering.
  • Initiate employee engagement activities such as wellness/ Heritage days.
  • Support the performance management processes at the Head Office.
  • Partner with line managers and staff to achieve business objectives.
  • Facilitate induction of new employees.
  • Generate HR reports as required.

Any other tasks as agreed with line manager.

Minimum qualifications and experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in at least one of the following disciplines: Human Resources, Employee/Labour Relations and Industrial Psychology or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Human Resources of which 3 years must have been as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist covering all broad aspects of Human resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively solve HR related problems.
  • Knowledge and experience working with BCEA, Employment Equity Act, Skills Development Act and Labour Law.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • Highly organised & detail oriented.
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
