Position Overview:
Home Concept manufactures and supplies cabinetry work (custom and DIY kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, garage, office cupboards) as well as many fittings and accessories.
We have supplied the retail trade for nearly 30 years (since 1995)from the JD Group (Bradlows, Russells, Rochester), Massmart Group (Game; Builders & Makro), Spar Group (Build It) and Independent Retailers.
As an Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our retail operations.
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of retail stores serviced through Home Concept, maintaining high standards of customer service, and driving sales and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Must be Sales & Process Driven:
- Manage daily retail operations, ensuring stores are well-stocked, organized, and staffed effectively.
- Develop/Follow and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze sales and performance data to make informed decisions and improvements.
- Lead and inspire a team of dedicated Dealers, Board Shop Controllers, Service Managers, providing coaching and guidance.
- Monitor and manage budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail operations management.
- Sales experience
- Own reliable vehicle and a valid drivers licence is essential
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication skills
- Systems & Process driven
