  • Receive and process purchase requisitions from relevant Production Departments and ensure they comply with company procedures
  • Source quotes from suppliers/service provider that meet inter alia quality, delivery, price, and stock holding criteria
  • Processing Purchase Orders
  • Placing of orders systematically and when stock reaches reorder levels
  • Avoid wastage and ordering too much or too little stock
  • Ensure incoming goods are received, managed, and stored appropriately according to the company's procedure
  • Identifying and inspecting quantities of products received according to the PO or Delivery Note and reconciling Delivery Notes with Purchase Orders
  • Issue of stock to production departments
  • Perform daily cycle counts
  • Perform at least two full stock takes per year
  • Reporting and managing stock holding levels
  • Implement and oversee stock control procedures
  • Responsible for relevant daytoday administration

Qualifications and Experience:


  • 2 to 3 years Storeman and Stock Control experience
  • Matric (Grade 12)


  • Computer literate

  • Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Knowledge of ERP/Stock control system an advantage
  • Planning, organisational and time management ability
  • Good communication skills verbal and written
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Telephone etiquette
