To ensure a sound control system regarding asset management within company


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Ensure that all news assets are properly tagged and distributed to the relevant custodians
  • Ensure that each office has inventory list displayed conspicuously behind office doors
  • Completion of additions, movement and disposal form
  • Communicate with officials from various levels/ components/ units
  • Conduct asset verification
  • Update asset register
  • Identify assets for disposals
  • Removal of assets identified for disposal from various locations to disposal store room
  • Complying with the provisions of all relevant legislation

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • National Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain and Finance.
  • 2 years exposure to Asset Management environment

Knowledge and Skills requirements:


  • Asset Management prescripts
  • Supply chain management prescripts
  • SAP
  • Financial Regulations
  • Computer Literacy (excel, word and outlook)
  • Problem Solving
  • Good interpersonal relations
  • Financial management

Requirements:


  • Physical handling of asset
  • Prolonged use of computer
  • Interaction with officials at various levels
