Description

Our client is a fast-growing tech-firm in the heart of Johannesburg is seeking a Data Center Specialist.

This role is a central point for evaluating, optimising and standardisation of managed Azure and Continuity services.

It focuses on the enablement of the operational teams to effectively deliver on required service levels and the optimisation of the services on a proactive basis.

Requirements:

7 years' experience supporting enterprise scale back up and have a thorough understanding of system backup and recovery methods and techniques.
7 years' experience creating, maintaining, following Standard Operating Procedures for repeatable processes, disaster recovery, and common problem resolution.
Indepth understanding of commercial backup offerings of the major vendors. For example, Veritas NetBackup, Commvault, Veeam etc.
Backup technology Certifications: Specialist or higher in at least two backup technologies
Experience with various Microsoft Server Operating systems
Experience with VMware virtualization technologies and principles
Experience with storage area network technologies
Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
Good understanding of Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS offerings, capabilities, and limitations

Qualifications:

Backup technology Certifications: Specialist or higher in at least two backup technologies
Must be Certified in Microsoft Azure AZ900 (Fundamentals) and AZ104 (Administration)
Certification in AZ304 and AZ305 (Architecture solutions)
Certification in AZ500 (Security)
RTR-FA DML (Record to Report
Financial Accounting)
Product Master & Stock DML
FTD DML (Forecast to Deploy)
EAM DML (Enterprise Asset Management)

Salary:
R1,520, R13,200,000.00 per year
