The Quality Manager will be responsible to develop, implement, maintain and continually improve the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management system and ISO 45001:2018 occupational health and safety management system.
REQUIRED COMPETENCY & TRAINING
- Minimum Grade 12
- Fluently in English (Read, Speak & Write)
- Proficiency in MS Office, Windows 8/10 (Must be strong in Word & Excel)
- ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Facilitation & Implementation Certification
- ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management Facilitation & Implementation Certification
8. 3-5 years' experience in an office administration environment
9. 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing administration environment
RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES
- Document Control - Maintain, Update & Control of Documentation used in the Quality Management System
- Document Control Procedure
- Record Control
- Record Collection & Inspection and subsequent reporting of the analysis of Records kept by others in the Quality Management System
- Record Control Procedure.
- Non Conformance Control - Maintain, Update & Control of Non Conformances Records used in the Quality Management System - Non Conformance Procedure
- Calibrations Control - Maintain, Update & Notification of Calibrations' Records used in the Quality Management System
- Calibration Records Procedure
- Request, Obtain information from relevant department heads for the Management Representative to prepare the Annual Management Review Meeting - Management Review Procedure
- Sending Customer Satisfaction Review Template to Customer on Completion of a Project, Obtaining Feedback and passing the information to the relevant person for follow up
- Customer Satisfaction Procedure
- Ad-hoc administrative duties as and when required by top management.
- Assist Heads of Departments during 3rd party system audits and product certification, liaise with external Auditors during audits.
- Assist relevant departments/ Heads of Departments with the transition from OHSAS 18001:2007 to ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management System and ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
- Create, review, update, maintain and control all documented information used within the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
- Drive the process of risk-based thinking within the organisation.
- Effectively deliver on the administrative requirements of the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
- Ensure that the integrity of the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety and
ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems are maintained when changes are planned and implemented and that such changes are communicated within the organization.
- Ensure that the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems conform to the requirements of the respective standards.
- Ensure that the process flow mapping for the processes are documented and updated as needed.
- Ensuring that processes needed for the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems are established, implemented and maintained by driving the process approach within the organisation.
- Establishing and continually improving the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
- Implement and maintain an effective electronic and hard copy filing system for all ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System documented information.
- Implement SANS 45001:2018 and SANS 9001:2015 to ensure compliance for the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
- Implement, manage and maintain the document and record control system.
- Integrate the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
- Main contact point for developments, improvements and changes to the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
- Maintain the calibration register and calibration certificates. Flag overdue calibrations.
- Obtain and maintain ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and product certification.
- Provide internal training on the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
- Quality control of weekly and monthly information/ data from various departments.
- Report on the performance of the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety and ISO 9001:2015Quality Management Systems to top management.
- Request and obtain information from the relevant Heads of Departments in order to prepare for the Annual Management
