Description

Monitoring health and safety risks in the workplace

Ensuring the company is legally compliant with all health and safety legislation.

Assist line management and staff in meeting their obligations under the relevant Occupational Health and Safety legislation such as ongoing safety education, hazard identification and elimination

Co-ordinate ongoing training for safety and environmental awareness at all levels of the workforce.

Inspect the workplace and sites regularly to audit safety and environment procedures and report findings to management

Investigate accidents, prepare and maintain required reports

Provide orientation to new hires regarding safety rules and regulations (induction)

Evaluate health and safety practice and procedures for risk assessment and following legal guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualification in health and safety

Matric

Minimum 2-4 years' experience in Health and Safety

Health and Safety files, attention to details and computer skills

Salary:
R5, R7,000.00 per month
