ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pre-

Sales:

  • Establish and develop leads in the following markets:
  • Managing Agents (Property Management focussed);
  • Community schemes (Gated estates);
  • Residential and Commercial Property developers;
  • Industry specific Service Providers; and
  • Commercial and Industrial property owners.
  • Network with existing STS relationships to meet other leads / partners.

Sales:

  • Understand and present STS' valueadded solutions to prospective customers via:
  • Information sessions.
  • Trustees / Directors meetings.
  • General Meetings (typically after hours); and
  • Above meetings would be virtual or in person meetings.
  • Liaise with internal operations teams to obtain proposals.
  • Ongoing client relationship management.
  • Weekly sales reports and forecasts.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets.
Post-

Sales:

  • Create and manage a sustainable relationship with the abovementioned clientele with focus on Managing Agents.
  • Ongoing engagement with Managing Agents, Trustees and Directors of estates where solutions have been sold and implemented.
  • Recommendation or reference letters to be obtained where possible.
  • Introduction of cross selling opportunities to existing clients.

DESIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Grade 1
  • Sales related certifications and / or qualifications will be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience.
  • Experience within a Community Schemes environment would be most suitable.
  • Excellent English communication written and verbal.
  • Fluency in other official South African languages would be an advantage.
  • Thorough understanding of sales processes and cycles including cold prospecting.
  • Confident in public speaking and presentations.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Interpersonal skills and able to build firm networks.
  • Time management.
  • Attention to detail.
  • High level of ethics and integrity.
  • Able to work remotely.
  • Own vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • Ability to be a team player when solving complex matters.
  • Ability to support customers and business partners during the sales cycles.
