Description

Role and Responsibilities
Greeting visitors & explaining the rules and safety regulations.

Guides guests in a professional manner on game drives.

Consults with guests about their interests and preferences.

Ensures guest safety at all times, especially regarding field conduct, vehicle safety and proximity to dangerous game.

Interprets and explains the reserve's wildlife, ecology and environment to guests.

Conducting tours and educational presentations.

Transporting of predators (lions, leopards, etc.).

Cleaning of predator camps.

Maintains game viewing vehicle and all equipment in a neat, clean and presentable condition.

Transporting guests to bush picnic sites.

Set up and maintain bush picnic sites.

Transport guests to and from the airfield or where required.

Maintenance of game reserve roads.

Performing emergency care, such as CPR, first aid, search and rescue.

Respects wildlife and the environment while guiding.

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

National Senior Certificate (Matric) - Required

Tertiary Qualification (Nature Management) - Preferred

FGASA level qualification or equivalent

Valid First Aid Certificate

Valid Driver's license (PDP)

Firearms competency (PH License will be advantageous)

Basic computer knowledge

Preferred Skills
Exceptional Interpersonal and Communication skills.

Able to work well within a team environment

Hospitality etiquette

Afrikaans and English Proficient

Must be presentable and well spoken

Salary:
R100, R144,000.00 per year
