Job Summary

The Data and Engineering division within Everyday Banking Physical Channels is looking for a Data Analyst

To support in providing infrastructure, tools and frameworks used to deliver endtoend solutions to business problems.
Build against scalable infrastructure in supporting the delivery of business insights from raw data sources with a focus on collecting, managing, governing, analysing, visualising data and developing analytical solutions.
Responsible for expanding and optimising the organisation's data and data pipeline architecture, whilst optimising data flow collection and distribution to ultimately support data initiatives.

Job Description:

Experience Required

Data and Analytics
Strong analytic skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets.
Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.
A successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets.
Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable 'big data' data stores.
Working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL)

IT Applications
Data Analysis including relevant supporting tools SQL client, MS Excel etc.
Experience with data integration solutions
Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB etc.
Exposure and or experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
Exposure and or experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Airflow, StreamSets etc.
Exposure and or experience with streamprocessing systems: Storm, Spark-Streaming, etc.
Exposure and or experience with objectoriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java etc.
Exposure and or experience with database administration

Education

Bachelor's Degree:
Information Technology
