Description

The incumbent in this role will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and execution of the maintenance plan in areas of responsibility, focusing on safety the selection, development, support and optimal utilization of people and adherence to systems and procedures.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Implementing and managing maintenance plans for areas of responsibility and communicating monthly and weekly maintenance targets; and monitoring and offering technical guidance to Supervisors to ensure the safe delivery of targets.
Managing resource capability, allocation, utilisation and driving the delivery of targets and equipment availability.
Measuring the performance of Foremen, providing guidance and coaching through the implementation of good standards and best practice.
Ensuring adherence to Legislation, Policies, Procedures, Standards and Operating Procedures in areas of responsibility.
Engaging relevant stakeholders to solve operational problems in areas of responsibility as necessary.
Ensuring that daily performance monitoring and interventions are in place to support and correct performance in areas of responsibility.

About you: To be considered for this role, you will meet the following minimum requirements:

Minimum Qualifications and experience

A relevant tertiary qualification.
Minimum 3 years' experience as an Engineering Supervisor or completion of the Graduate Development Programme.
Experience with Drills (DM30, PV275).
