Our Client, a Dynamic Company offering Alternative Greening Solutions in the Solar Industry, is looking for a _Reliable, Confident and Assertive_
Stock Controller with a _strong admin background_ and an understanding of technical / mechanical / electrical / plumbing components to join their team.


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES &


DUTIES:

  • 1)

Maintaining supply inventory:
_

  • Monitoring purchases and applicable delivery dates
  • Review delivery and receiving documents for accuracy.
  • Receiving store deliveries including forklift operating and heavy lifting
  • Collection of stock orders
  • Incoming and outgoing of project stock against project bill of materials
  • Submit orders for replenishment of inventory
  • Monitor stock replacements
  • Notification of minimum stocks
  • Maintain logs of all products and supplies
  • Organise inventory in stock and project bay storerooms
  • Identify stock gaps/purchases
  • Check actual store inventory against computerised records
  • Pull any defective or unwanted merchandise for returns

Updating paperwork, maintaining documents and computer processing:
_

  • Stock quotes and pricelists
  • Data capturing
  • Scanning, printing and filing
  • 3) Identify trends on card purchases as part of stock control._
  • 4) Maintain order and neatness of storeroom._
  • 5) The Employee's duties are not limited to the above general duties and include any other duties reasonably expected by the Employer._

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


  • High school qualification: additional certification in Office Management is a plus.
  • Successfully completed short programme in storekeeping/stock control.
  • Proven work experience as a Stock Controller, preferably in a mixed medium environment.
  • A good understanding of inventory management principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Particularly Excel.
  • Handson experience with office equipment (e.g. computers and printers).
  • Drivers license.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Manage stock movement assertively and strictly with installation teams.
  • Control the security over stock which could result in loss, damage or misappropriation.
  • Excellent organisational skills: Accuracy and attention to detail is not negotiable.
  • Multitasking and timemanagement skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision. (It is very important to understand that this is a quiet environment outside of the morning and late afternoon rush. The employee will often be left on their own from 09h00 to 15h00 )
