Description

Key responsibilities include the following**:

Teaching and learning responsibilities including lecturing all aspects of PharmacologyPerforming administrative duties in the Division

  • Undertaking research in Laboratory/Clinical PharmacologySupervision of undergraduate/postgraduate students in research and academic teachingSecure research grants to establish and maintain niche area

Requirements:

Graduates with a PhD degree in Pharmacology or near to completion with a PhD in PharmacologyGraduates with a MBBCh/BPharm/BHSc degree with MMed/MPharm/MSc degree ideally in Clinical PharmacologyRegistered with appropriate professional body (if applicable)Previous teaching experience in Pharmacology at a tertiary levelResearch and supervisory experience at a tertiary levelHas a publication record in ISI accredited journals


Preferences:

Relevant Pharmacology teaching experience at tertiary levelPharmacology research experience, postgraduate supervision and publication(s)

The successful applicant should be available to assume duties on 01 July 2024.
