Job description:

The Commercial Assistant will oversee the administration of Commercial Portfolio.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage policy renewals
  • Address and resolve client inquiries (existing and potential clients)
  • Maintain MyPractice System
  • Administer Documentation effectively (keeping detailed records)
  • Cultivate and nurture positive working relationships
  • Ensure FAIS Compliance

Required skill sets:
  • Grade 1 qualification
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Successful completion of the RE 5 Examination (Representatives)
  • NQF Level 4 Short Term Insurance qualification
  • DOFA confirmation from FSCA
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Commercial Insurance
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills (Afrikaans and English)
  • Strong organizational and administrative capabilities
  • Excellent multitasking and time management abilities
  • Highly dependable, adaptable, and resilient
  • Proficient in problem-solving
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Team player mentality
  • Customer-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
