Job Description - Assistant IT Technician


The Assistant IT Technician shall be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing hardware and software components of the organization's computers.

Their duties shall include, but not be limited to;

  • Assist to install, configure, and maintain the company's IT framework.
  • Providing general support for the IT department and for the company's computer users
  • Installing and maintaining various peripherals as well as installing relevant updates and patches
  • Assisting computer users with the operation/ repair of computer systems and other technological equipment
  • Providing technical assistance to clients be installing, configuring, testing, and upgrading computer software and hardware
  • Providing general support to the IT department and branches

Requirements:


  • Qualification in Information Technology or equivalent
  • Driver's License
  • Retail experience
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
