They are looking for an assistant in their Animal Feed division.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop relationships with transporters and clients.
  • Keeping clients informed regarding the status of cargo.
  • Followup with trucks to determine ETA.
  • Communication with suppliers and loading points.
  • Handle everyday logístical challenges.
  • Weekly planning of truck movements and delivery.
  • Updating system from loaded to delivered.
  • Sending of load cons.
  • Daily admin functions.
  • Adding new transporters and updating insurance.
  • Invoicing
  • 6month Reconciliations.
  • Opening and sending of contracts and collection of signed contracts.
  • Collecting POD's.
  • Supplier payments.
  • Loading of transport invoices.

Experience & Qualifications:


  • At least 2 3 years of experience in a logistics role.
  • Matric qualification.
  • A degree will be beneficial.

Competencies:


  • Analytical.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Fully bilingual with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently.

Remuneration:


  • Industryrelated basic salary dependent on experience.
  • Company pension fund contribution.
