Are you a seasoned Credit Risk Analyst with a passion for developing and validating credit risk models? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and possess strong analytical and coding skills? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at a major consulting company known for its expertise in the field of credit risk management.

Responsibilities:

Contribute to the development and validation of credit risk models for provisioning and capital modeling purposes
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to analyze and interpret credit risk data, identifying areas for improvement and recommending strategies to mitigate risk
Utilize your expertise in software coding to read, interpret, and create code related to credit risk modeling
Keep uptodate with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends in credit risk modeling and analysis
Collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective credit risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines

Education:

A degree (Honours or Masters) in a quantitative field such as Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit risk or a related field
Strong knowledge and handson experience in the development and validation of credit risk models
Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and creating software code, specifically in the field of credit risk modeling (e.g., SAS, Python, or R)
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
Strong problemsolving abilities and the ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex concepts to stakeholders at various levels
A proactive mindset, demonstrating the ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently to meet project deadlines
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and guidelines related to credit risk management is preferred
