Are you a seasoned Credit Risk Analyst with a passion for developing and validating credit risk models? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and possess strong analytical and coding skills? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at a major consulting company known for its expertise in the field of credit risk management.


Responsibilities:


  • Contribute to the development and validation of credit risk models for provisioning and capital modeling purposes
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to analyze and interpret credit risk data, identifying areas for improvement and recommending strategies to mitigate risk
  • Utilize your expertise in software coding to read, interpret, and create code related to credit risk modeling
  • Keep uptodate with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends in credit risk modeling and analysis
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective credit risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines

Education:


  • A degree (Honours or Masters) in a quantitative field such as Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline

Job Experience and Skills Required:


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit risk or a related field
  • Strong knowledge and handson experience in the development and validation of credit risk models
  • Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and creating software code, specifically in the field of credit risk modeling (e.g., SAS, Python, or R)
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and the ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex concepts to stakeholders at various levels
  • A proactive mindset, demonstrating the ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently to meet project deadlines
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and guidelines related to credit risk management is preferred
