Reservations Manager**

Ensures the smooth and efficient operations in the department through prompt, effective and proper reservations service to achieve maximum room revenue in order to meet or exceed the revenue target.

Requirements:

Must have Grade 12 and formal Hospitality qualification.
Minimum of 4 years Opera experience in 45star hotel establishments
Strong leadership and communication skills (Written and oral
Resilient and flexible
Must be able to work under pressure.

Description:

Liaising with central reservations to communicate new rate plans and promotions.
Liaising with travel agents, the revenue manager and the rooms division manager
Assisting the sales team in setting their rates
Maintaining the inhouse reservations systems
Forecasting revenue streams
Responsible for various Production reports and supply to each department concerned.
Managing your team effectively
Ensure special handling of repeats guest and VIP guest.
Supervising of Group Reservations
Having knowledge of entire Reservation Procedure according to International Hotel system
Excellent sales and customer skills able to develop and maintain relationships with clients and increase corporate business.
