Description

Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Be able to read electrical wire diagrams

Understand AC and DC wiring experience

Be able to fault find

Install electrical components

Drawings and schematics, interpret relevant symbols, abbreviations and wiring on drawings

Identify material and material specification as per design and drawing requirements

Electrical Fault finding, testing and diagnostics

Electrical systems installations, repairs, replacement and upgrade

Identify material and material specification as per design and drawing requirements

Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, equipment and components by using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem

Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices

Panel Building and timeous hand-over of panel build

Perform Visual inspection after repairs

Education / Experience and Knowledge
Matric

Certificate / Diploma Electrical

Trade Certificate would be adv.

Minimum - 4 years' experience in an electrical / mechanical field

Electrical Control Panel Building experience

Have knowledge of industrial automation equipment

Computer Literate:
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Attention to detail

Work very neatly

Salary:
R16 000,00 - R18 000,00 per month
