Minimum requirements for the role:
- A bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an HR Administrator or similar role, preferably in a mediumsized company with 100 employees.
- An understanding of South African labour laws, regulations and employment practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Have problemsolving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Maintaining accurate and uptodate employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
- Ensuring the confidentiality and security of all employee information.
- Processing new employee onboarding and facilitating documentation completion.
- Managing employee attendance records and maintaining leave balances.
- Processing leave requests and ensuring compliance with company policies and labour laws.
- Supporting benefits enrolment and changes and assisting employees with pension and medical aid administration and queries.
- Liaising with benefits providers and ensuring accurate administration of medical aid and pension fund.
- Providing payroll input by updating employee information and other payrollrelated details.
- Collaborating with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Maintaining and updating HR documents, policies, and procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with South African labour laws and company policies in all HR activities.
- Addressing basic employee queries and concerns related to HR policies and procedures.
- Assisting in coordinating training sessions, workshops and development programs for employees.
- Tracking and monitoring employee training progress and completion.
