Minimum requirements for the role:

  • A bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an HR Administrator or similar role, preferably in a mediumsized company with 100 employees.
  • An understanding of South African labour laws, regulations and employment practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Have problemsolving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Maintaining accurate and uptodate employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
  • Ensuring the confidentiality and security of all employee information.
  • Processing new employee onboarding and facilitating documentation completion.
  • Managing employee attendance records and maintaining leave balances.
  • Processing leave requests and ensuring compliance with company policies and labour laws.
  • Supporting benefits enrolment and changes and assisting employees with pension and medical aid administration and queries.
  • Liaising with benefits providers and ensuring accurate administration of medical aid and pension fund.
  • Providing payroll input by updating employee information and other payrollrelated details.
  • Collaborating with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Maintaining and updating HR documents, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with South African labour laws and company policies in all HR activities.
  • Addressing basic employee queries and concerns related to HR policies and procedures.
  • Assisting in coordinating training sessions, workshops and development programs for employees.
  • Tracking and monitoring employee training progress and completion.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
