Main Purpose:


The maximization of efficiencies and effectiveness of the site supervisor through the efficient coordination of service an installation related work.


KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Policy & Procedures

  • Ensure effective compliance with policies and procedures as well as legitimate Instructions.
  • Familiarize yourself with the content of policies and procedures as they come about. (Site Specific)

Customer Care

  • When visiting a customer, determine fault, repair, or Install
  • When fault cannot be repaired immediately, determine equipment needed and reschedule appointment with coordinator and client.
  • Always follow up with coordinator, Technicians, and clients.

Compliance to SOP

  • Manage dedicated staff compliment
  • Complete overtime sheet daily.
  • Complete job cards with all relevant information.
  • Ensure that Technicians are performing duties accordingly and maintain a high standard of workmanship acceptable by the client.
  • Client Liaison
  • Attend meetings
  • Control Fleet
  • Understand and effectively us the Pulse system

Communication

  • Feedback to Manager on a daily basis with regards to work completed and work outstanding.

Standby

  • Be available for standby duties and monitor all onsite staff compliments standby and overtime.
  • Hand in overtime sheet with attached copies of job cards where overtime was worked on a monthly basis.
  • Cell phones (Standby and company) to be on at all times.
  • Company cell phone to be on at all times even when not on standby.
  • Standby duties may vary.
  • Standby duty may not be swopped out with out the permission of the Manager.

EHS

  • Support EHS efforts of the company and understand and comply with all EHS Policies.
  • Advise fellow employees when unsafe acts and /or conditions occur.
  • Correct unsafe conditions, when possible, and refer unsafe situations to supervision for further action when the condition cannot be easily corrected.
  • Report all occupational injuries, illnesses, environment spills or fire, regardless of severity, to management immediately.
  • Report hazards which may result in an injury, illness, spill or fire to supervision.
  • Follow all established Rules and Procedures.
  • In sure that all tasks are preformed in the safest possible manner.
  • Use prescribed personal protective wear when required and always and always adheres to safe work procedures when operating tools or equipment.
  • Participate with Managers in conducting regular Self-Inspections.
  • Attend relevant safety meetings and safety discussion sessions.

Complaints

  • To ensure all complaint service calls are done daily as it is issued.
  • To ensure feed back is given to the originator and relayed to Manager timelessly.

Ethics

  • To comply with the company ethics policy at all times.
  • Gifts received from any customer/supplier are to be declared to the Technical Manager immediately.

Dress
Code

  • Make sure that all staff to be dressed in a suitable manner and may not wear any revealing clothing.
  • Hair should be kept clean and neat at all times.
  • No takkies may be worn at all times. Footwear must be of a suitable nature.
  • Casual clothing and footwear may only be worn on special occasions.
  • A Doctors letter/note will allow the wearing of any other clothing.

Customer Relations

  • All staff and contractors in the Technical department must remember that people with good manners give the impression that they are capable and a professional in their line of duty. Good manners are like positive body language, creating confidence, whereas bad manners give offence.

Services

  • To ensure all Electronic equipment on site is serviced and kept in working condition daily.


  • CCTV

  • To service, Clean and Maintain on a regular basis.
  • Access Control
  • To service, Clean and Maintain all Booms and Grippers on site
