Description

A manufacturing company in the Ballito area is on the lookout for an experienced Stock Controller with at least 5 years coming from the manufacturing industry in a similar role ideally within a FMCG environment

Further duties entails:

Management of expired stock (liaise with Planning on stock expiring, exploring options to use stock prior to expiry, sell back to supplier at a discounted rate or if no other options stock removed and disposed as per SOP Process)
Management of Stock Counts, ensuring no WIP (production orders closed except part releases), All inventory delivered is GRV'd and quarantine warehouse cleared, count sheets issued with stickers for marking counted boxes/racks, capturing counts, issuing recounts, and submission of final stock counts to Management for sign off prior to posting count in SAP
Capturing and processing monthly cycle counts on packaging material for production in the following month, to be reviewed and signed off by Financial Manager
Monthly Reconciliation of drums and tanks quantities
Processing of monthly retention samples and any NPD trials
Monthly count of bulk and finished goods warehouses, discrepancies investigated and resolved. Management of quarantine warehouse ensuring this is cleared out monthly by GRV Clerk.
MRP created, reviewed, and sent as agreed with procurement team. Finished goods/ bulk pulling on MRP to be cleared (production order dates updated)
Maintenance of Item Master Data in collaboration with Procurement and Quality obsolete items reviewed, review of item groups, UoM codes correct, updating of SAP bill of materials.
