Technical Competencies and responsibilities
- Ensuring efficient and effective operations of the macadamia kernel, cosmetic oil and food grade protein/oil production processes.
- Effective management and motivation of all production staff.
- Planning and organising production schedules
- Monitoring productivity rates and product standards and improvement programmes
- Negotiating and agreeing production budgets and timescales with managers
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
- Ensuring quality control standards are met in the production process
- Overseeing constant improvement of production processes
- Renegotiating production timescales or schedules as necessary
- Ensure that FSSC 22,000 standards are followed in the kernel processing, cosmetic oil and food grade oil and protein production lines
Behavioural Competencies:
- Ability to perform under pressure.
- Ability to set deadlines and achieve them.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Literacy and numeracy
- Strong computer knowledge including accounting software and Excel skills.
