Responsibilities:


  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, such as computer crashes, network connectivity problems, printer malfunctions, and software configuration errors.
  • Set up and deploy new workstations, ensuring proper installation and connectivity.
  • Create and manage user accounts, passwords, and access rights within our IT systems.
  • Assist with the maintenance and administration of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
  • Monitor and respond to system alerts and notifications to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or external vendors when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests and document troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
  • Keep uptodate with the latest technology trends and industry developments.

Requirements:


  • High school Grade 12 or equivalent; relevant certifications or technical training is a plus CompTIA A+or N.
  • Previous experience in an IT support role or customer service position is desirable.
  • Familiarity with common productivity software, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory, user account management, and security principles.
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical individuals.
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
