Education Requirements:

Grade 12
Diploma or Certificate in IT

Certifications Required:

CompTIA A+
CompTIA Network+
CompTIA Security+

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT

Primary Purpose of the Job:

Installing, maintaining, repairing, and upgrading network and computer systems. Diagnosing and fixing problems or potential problems with the network and its hardware, software, and systems. Monitoring network and systems to improve performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Internet access control and ensure secure, zero abuse of internet access by students and colleagues.
Maintain and deploy antivirus across all systems to ensure a network free of malicious viruses.
Operate a helpdesk to resolve all support calls and queries within agreed service level agreements.
Manage printers and ensure all are in working order.
Conduct regular backups as per schedule, ensuring no data is lost and ability to restore from backup tapes.
Hardware installations, problem solving, maintenance, and support.
Network management including cable management, patching, and equipment maintenance.

Pay:
R1,00 - R2,00 per month
