Job Advert Summary:


The successful applicant will assist the Plumber with his day to day activities on site in the general maintenance, installation and fabrication of domestic plumbing equipment and new pipelines.


Minimum Requirements:


  • Grade 12 (Senior Certificate)
years' relevant experience in the plumbing field

  • Valid Code B drivers license
  • Special training certificate in basic plumbing is desirable
  • Trade certificate in plumbing will be an added advantage

Primary Duties:


  • Assist artisan plumber with plumbing maintenance work on buildings, sewerage, storm water drainage and general work preparation.
  • Assist with fabrication and repairs of pipeline equipment
  • To prepare all equipment, material and tools as delegated by the Plumber.
  • To ensure that all equipment is used safety and according to standards of work as determined by the Artisan.
  • General house cleaning duties including workshop machinery and equipment.

  • General maintenance
  • Safety and safe working procedures

  • Ability to do minor repairs
  • Communication skills (verbal and written)
