- Good Managerial Skills

- Distribution experience
- Procurement experience
- Good knowledge of Food, Beverage & Cabin items
- Good communications skills both written and verbal
- A very good competency on Excel (Advanced) and Outlook
- MS Dynamics NAV (Navision) experience nonnegotiable
- Strong Excel Reporting Skills and aptitude for data and analysis
Primary Responsibilities
Stock Control Management:
- Implement Stock Control procedures across multiple branches
- Implement new stock master across multiple branches
- Ensure that all Stock core lines are identified and a full products list maintained for all stores.
- Ensure that Minimum, Maximum and reorder levels are continuously maintained, monitored and adjusted on a regular basis.
- Ensure that an acceptable minimum level of stock is maintained at all times.
- Ensure that All stock forecasting is done to maintain Reorder points prior to stock reaching minimum levels, by also taking lead times into consideration.
- Ensure that BIN cards are maintained and updated on a daily/ order by order basis.
- Ensure that stock balance system inspections are developed, documented, implemented, maintained & improved on a regular basis.
- Maintain daily reporting of stock movement and report this to management, ensuring that consumption levels are monitored as and when requested.
- Update and maintain the clients stock lists for all stores on a regular basis.
- Ensure that a Bond Register Audit is being conducted in conjunction with the C&F department at regular Predetermined intervals on a monthly basis. Bond Stores Stock to Match the Bin cards, and Bin Cards to match The Bond register book.
- Ensure that a system for receipt of incoming stock is developed, documented, implemented, maintained & Improved on a regular basis.
- Ensure that Incoming stock is checked according to the clients Product Specification requirements, for Quality & Quantity.
- Ensure that a product specification procedure is developed, documented, implemented, maintained & Improved on a regular basis.
- Ensure that physical Stock takes occur as and when required from Management and the accounts department.
- Ensure that a monthly is scheduled with Management to report on Stock movement and work on improving the
- Core stock line item profile.
- Ensure that Local Stock requisitions are prepared on a daily basis or as/ when required and presented to the Warehouse Manager to procure stock from local markets.
- Ensure that Import stock requisitions are prepared with quantities and product specifications so that Import markets Can be assessed to be able to procure imported Core stock line items.
- Ensure that product lines that are bought on a regular buyout basis, are identified and adopted into core stock line items and keeping a minimum level of stock of these lines on a regular basis.
- Ensure that a Stock items being returned are being monitored & recorded on a regular basis to discuss with management.
Stacking & Storage:
- Implement Stacking & Storage procedures across multiple branches
- Ensure that the Stacking & Storage Procedures and Work Instructions are understood and followed at all times.
- Maintain neat storage in all stores (inclusive of Refrigeration) at all times.
- Ensure that stock is packed neatly and in accordance with SHEQ requirements.
- Ensure that all Product labelling complies with the clients Quality Requirements.
- Ensure that Systems for Stock rotation are developed, documented, implemented, maintained & improved taking into consideration expiry dates and product batches at all times.
- Inform Senior Management of obsolete/Nonconforming stock on a weekly basis.
- Ensure that storage floor, racking & stacking plans are developed, documented & maintained for all Provisions & Cabin Stores regularly.
- Ensure that the Stores Storage Plan contains unique BIN location reference numbers, detailed to the extent that will facilitate a quick and accurate retrieval, Identification & Traceability of Stock all stores.
- Carry out reinspection & Sampling of stored products at regular scheduled intervals.
- Ensure that a system for obsolete/ Nonconforming stock items are developed, documented, implemented, maintained, improved & Actioned with Senior Management.
- Ensure that products which have deteriorated to the extent that it no longer conforms to the clients requirements, mark the products accordingly and isolate it a Quarantine within all stores
- Ensure that Obsolete Stock/ Products are disposed/discarded in a Environmentally and Safe manner to ensure that it will comply with SHEQ requirements and procedures.
- Ensure that if Obsolete Stock/ Products are to be disposed/ discarded, that the stock/ products are quantified and authorized and signed off by senior management prior to being disposed/
