Operations and Administrative Assistant required in Nottingham Road to join our existing team in a temporary position which has the strong possibility to become permanent.

Duties

  • Assisting in basic administrative work
  • Answering phone, filing, attending to ad hoc office requirements ie; opening and closing gate
  • Creating of purchase orders
  • MICROS and Xero
  • Placing of orders through various food suppliers and small retail outlets.
  • Assisting in the receiving of stock as well as packing stock
  • Collating of invoices and paperwork for accountants
  • Basic HR, completion of staff take on forms, casual wages, filing
  • Assisting with capturing stock on Micros and Xero
  • Position requires a flexible individual able to assist where required in a changing role.
  • Should be available to work weekends and public holidays
  • Assist stock controller in duties relating to stock management
  • Available to work alternative Saturdays and Public Holidays

Requirements:


  • Matric, diploma in office management
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Computer literate, previous experience on Micros / Opera advantageous
  • Minimum of 3 years of similar experience
While the position is predominately office based you will be required to move between departments as and when needed.


Job Type:
Contract

Contract length: 3 months probation


Salary:
From R10,500 per month

  • Nottingham Road, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Diploma (preferred)

Experience:


  • Administrative office procedures, practices and equipment: 3 years (preferred)
