Role Impact


Nexford University (NXU) is building an end-to-end education to employment platform, we are looking for an Instruction Production Specialist who will actively contribute to the deployment and maintenance of Nexford's academic offerings.

You will have the opportunity to deliver real impact by helping learners globally achieve their lifelong goals through online courses, certificates, and degree programs.


A Day in the Life of an Instruction Production Specialist

Morning:

Your day might start off by attending one of the weekly meetings to stay up-to-date on the evolving curriculum design and innovation roadmap, ensuring that our courses are always ahead of the curve.


Midday:

As your day shapes up you will start building out content for our online courses and resolving support tickets from learners.


Afternoon:

Collaborate with the learning design team to ensure we are delivering a quality product to learners


Key Responsibilities

The Constants:


  • Monitor and respond to learner tickets about courserelated issues and concerns not limited to fixing broken links and removed videos
  • Convert courses from elearning authoring tools to native LMS courses
  • Properly refer and escalate issues while handling simpler tickets independently

The Variables:


  • Review courses according to quality assurance standards and communicate results to the learning design team
  • Actively seeks opportunities to incorporate new and innovative ways to engage learners through design, development, and advancement of quality learning experiences

Skills and Qualifications

  • Customer service experience in responding to, referring, and meeting SLAs
  • Extremely detailed and processoriented
  • Ability to work in a deadlinedriven environment
  • National Senior Certificate (NSC) or higher
