Furniture Repair Technician - Johannesburg, South Africa - Wheco Group
Description
*This appointee will be responsible for aftersales customer care.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Repairs and assembly of furniture.
*Home visits to assemble, collect or deliver items.
*Provide technical assistance on-site at the Reverse Logistics (RVL) premises in Stikland, the showrooms and customers homes.
*Administration: picking slips, schedules, reports.
*Ensuring timelines are met.
*Ad hoc: Assisting with departmental duties.
COMPETENCIES/REQUIREMENTS:
*Matric (Grade 12).
*Valid Code 08 drivers license.
*Physically fit as to lift, load and or carry stock.
*Proficient in English (read, write, speak)
*Fully computer literate (Outlook, Excel etc)
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
*Furniture industry experience advantageous.
*Be knowledgeable and experienced in the use of power tools, repairs, and assembly of furniture.
*Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
*Meticulous attention to detail.
*Fast learner and a team player.
Salary is market related
