Job Duties/Responsibilities will include:
Record keeping and documentation
Processing, preparing and review of Locum accounts.
Data analysis to identify and report trends.
Responsible for key reconciliations relating to Locum accounts.
VAT calculations.
Gather procedure card information, validate information, file and upload the cards.
Exercise strong controls over payments of Locums and loading of new beneficiaries.
Exercise strong controls over approval and onboarding of new Locums and loading of approved data on the various operating/financial systems.
Ensure that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained.
Identify, evaluate, and prioritise risks.
Maintain confidentiality.
National Senior Certificate
Excel certificate
Elixir Live certificate, or similar medical billing software.
5 years experience
Experience with medical accounts and billing.
Analysing financial data and preparing financial reports.
Formulating financial strategies and implementing proper internal controls.
Elixir Live (or similar medical billing software).
Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel.
Knowledge of medical accounts and billing.
Solid understanding of accounting and accounting software principles.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with professionals.
Always maintain a courteous and professional demeanour, even during high-pressure situations.
Take the utmost care to protect sensitive information by maintaining strict confidentiality and discretion.
