Your Tasks

  • To integrate quality into the business by ensuring that every customer contact is a demonstration of absolute dedication towards providing first time ideal solutions for the satisfaction of customer's immediate and future needs.
  • To implement ISO standards and Global SOP procedures at all times
  • To provide an efficient, friendly & Insanely Customer Centric service to customers so as to maintain service excellence & DHL's reputation as market leader.
  • To make contact with the Account Customers, thereby ensuring that all information (i.e. tariff classification; value; Duty / Vat) has been obtained in order to frame bill of entry.
  • To monitor the ageing reports for shipments in Bond & and escalate where appropriate to ensure fastest possible resolutions of all shipments in Bond whilst maintaining quality standards.
  • To ensure that Account Customers are kept updated with progress, as per procedures in place.
  • To proactively inform Customers of shipments delays and potential service failures as per Customer agreement.
  • To take ownership of internal communications and provide a single point of contact for the Account Customers.
  • To prepare quality written correspondence as and when required.
  • Make joint visits to Account Customers with Sales staff.
  • To ensure that any requested reports is generated and forwarded to Account Customers/Sales as necessary.
  • To ensure that any complaints and claims transferred to the Customer Care Team and treated as priority and are resolved.

Your Profile

  • Ability to work weekends, Public Holidays
  • Post abet 4 or equivalent qualification
  • Previous Customer Service Experience
  • Call Centre Experience
  • Good Knowledge of Customs Act and Procedures
  • Computer Literate
  • Sound Customer Relationship Experience
  • Experience in Customs Entries
  • Can Do Attitude
  • Must have Matric
