We're looking for a Social Media Intern to join our team for a paid six-month internship. As a Social Media Intern, you will work closely with our Social Media Manager to support social media publishing, administrative tasks, and community management.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the creation and scheduling of social media content
Monitor and respond to social media comments and messages
Conduct research on social media trends and best practices
Assist with administrative tasks related to social media campaigns
Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to develop and execute social media strategies
Stay up to date on social media trends and assist the team with monthly reporting

Requirements:

Own computer and transport
South African resident
A qualification in marketing, media or relevant field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Afrikaans and English
Passion for social media and a strong understanding of various platforms (TikTok, Instagram etc)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in managing social media accounts
