Job overview:


An industry leading company in the supply of Flowers and Bulbs is hiring a JUNIOR Stock Controller (recently matriculated/graduated) for their warehouse based in the West Rand of Johannesburg.


Conditions:


  • WORKING HOURS: 08:00 17:00 (Extra hours when the need arises)
  • STARTING DATE: As soon as possible
  • BASIC SALARY: ± R R20 000 PM depending on qualification and/or experience

After the completion of probation, 50% medical aid contribution + Provident/Pension Fund, housing allowance can be discussed but not a given.


  • EXPERIENCE: 3 5 Years' relevant experience.

S LICENSE:
Required


Applicants must possess the following skills/attributes:

  • Matric (Grade 12) with Higher Grade (HG) Maths (this is mandatory for the position)
  • Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (also mandatory for the position)
  • Basic knowledge of accounting packages/software
  • Computer literate (with intermediate advanced MS Excel competency)
  • Proven work experience in stock controlling & warehousing (35 years)
  • Basics knowledge of purchasing and liaising with suppliers
  • Neat and presentable in their appearance
  • Walkingfit (as the position is physically demanding)
  • Ability to follow instructions (important)
  • A complete copy of your CV, outlining your relevant qualifications and work experience.
  • A copy of your matric certificate (showing your completion of Higher Grade mathematics)
  • Name, surname and contact numbers of references

Salary:
R10, R20,000.00 per month
