R1,2 mil - R1, 585 mil


Job type:
permanent and full-time


Purpose
To provide both strategic and operational leadership to Undergraduate Department within a Business School.

The successful person will be responsible for the development and growth of programmes with a particular focus on management disciplines.


Essential experience and Skills for the role:

  • 10 years experience at Management/leadership level within Higher Education Business and Commerce faculties
  • Masters Level qualification or higher
  • Strategic Development and Execution experience
  • Creation of Management Educational Programmes
  • Business Development
- expanding the market reach of educational programmes

  • Sales experience specifically relating to educational courses internally and externally
  • People Management
- experience leading high-performing teams and fostering a culture of performance

  • Quality Assurance:_ _as it related to academic regulations and quality standards in education.

Terms and conditions


There are no specified hours of work; the incumbent will be required to work such hours as necessary to carry out the duties associated with the post.

This will include some out-of-office hours and weekends depending on the needs of the business. This may involve face-to-face and online time. Overtime is not payable. Core office opening hours are 8:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday. This is a full
- time position.
